With her long red stringy hair, bright black eyes,
claw-like hands and ghastly complexion, Beansidhe
is keening from the Swiss mountainous district of
Ticino since 1999. Originally established by Eli
(drums), Pat (voice) and Piter (guitar), Beansidhe's
lineup is completed by the meeting with Reeks (bass)
in 2001 and the arrival of G.ni (guitar) in 2002.
Pat is dismissed shortly thereafter, because of
musical incompatibilities with the band. The operation
of finding a replacement for the vacant position proves
to be a very difficult one, until April 2003, when
Phil joins the ranks. Beansidhe was born, and begins
to perform live at several music clubs, earning quite
some success in the local underground scene. In June
2004, the first 5-tracks demo EP is released:
"Beansidhe's Everlasting Cry" gets positive critical
approval worldwide. More time is then dedicated to live
shows all over Swirzerland; Beansidhe's name spreads
wider. The month of June 2005 is marked by the departure
of G.ni. With a new born strength and serious will to
improve, Beansidhe dedicates the years after to the
refinement of her musical personality, to the songwriting
and to the neverending process of enhancing impact,
originality and extravagance.
In 2009, Beansidhe enters Frag.Out and SixSound studios
with Gianka (Amphitrium, Nakaruga, ...) as sound engineer
to catch on tape screams and rumbles for the second time.
The new EP, entitled "De Mortis Eloquentia", is released
on January 23th, 2010!
